• How to Code-share, including how to build a PI ProcessBook supplement
• Several PI ProcessBook objects, properties and methods explained
• Several VBA questions relative to the PI ProcessBook
Prerequisites:
• PI Client - Fundamentals course (practical knowledge of the PI ProcessBook may substitute this course as a prerequisite).
Description:
This course is aimed at the use of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in the accessing of PI ProcessBook ActiveX automation functionalities. Visual Basic instruction will not be provided, and it is expected of students that they already be familiar with this language.
If you have never used Visual Basic, but are fluent in other programming environments (such as Fortran, C or Pascal), you may be capable of performing the exercises in this course. If you have no programming experience, you will probably not be able to complete these exercises within a reasonable time limit and keep up with the course’s scheduled activities.
